Happy Easter Everyone. I trust you have all had a wonderful break.
First I would like to introduce you to a great new Stall holder that will be at the May 15th Small People Event.
"We take ordinary objects, ancient skills, unloved trash, new art & sculpture, treasures of yesteryear and surprising homegrown, homesewn things and give them to you on a platter – in one place, one space, with a product line you can trace. To put it simply, we have thrown the net wide to harness the creative talents of the village. We believe in product with conscience, and we make it our business to tell you the stories that breathe the life and love into the wonderful one-offs you’ll find instore. We can’t help ourselves. Creativity feeds upon itself and it just keeps growing. I think creativity is a crucial part of consciousness.
For a long time before Do Re Me the store, I simply stole moments to do rabidly creative things in between the very large task of breeding and rearing small humans"
Madeleine is being super duper generous and is offering one of my lucky readers a $100 Voucher WOW!!!!!!!to spend on her products at the May 15th Market.

I had a facial! That was by far the best thing I've done for me in a long time. And then all the other good stuff that comes with Easter and three little ones... eating chocolate like it's going out of fashion and all the rest.
ReplyDeleteHey Janina, I had a full weekend but the best thing I did was take the kids to an Easter Egg hunt and had a yummy easter picnic with lots of goodies that I had baked the night before!
ReplyDeleteI liked DoReMe fb Page!!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing I did this Easter was spend time together as a family. We are renovating and my husband travels a lot so it was nice to take some time out. I am also 7 mths pregnant so it will be the last Easter I have with only my little man & I together before we all have to adapt to the changes that a new born brings! (Also 'liked' the FB page).
ReplyDeletei spent time camping with the in laws, no power, no running water, hole in the ground toilet, and mud everywhere due to it raining made it a very tough with a 4 month old, but we still managed to have fun and eat lots of chocolate :)

Family time seems to be a winner over Easter!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than spending time together, pottering along through the days...a chocolate egg here, chocolate bunny there...
My daughter and I did some sewing together (she's making a skirt after almost sewing a complete bag by herself...she's 7!) my husband and son did some gardening together, enjoying the sunshine...
Such a lovely few days, family time is so precious in these hectic times.

looks like family and chocolate are the clear winners. It is such a lovely long luxurious break. Martine great that your 7 y.o is sewing...and a whole bag.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing I did over Easter was a little something just for me. A girlfriend and I caught the train to Melbourne and spent the entire day at South Wharf DFO. We LOVE Barkins department store.
ReplyDeleteFamily family family chocolate family.
ReplyDeleteHad a wonderful Easter with the family. A picnic by the river, what joy to see the little ones enjoying their Easter egg hunt among the bushes. The weather could not have been better. Feel really relaxed after the long break.
ReplyDeleteNo school run for three weeks. What a holiday!

The best for this Easter was being with Family including 5 grandchildren to share Good Friday with simple seafood - fun and magic.
ReplyDeleteBest thing we did over Easter was spending quality time together! This included celebrating 2 birthdays (youngest child and middle child) and lots of Easter traditions like decorating Easter eggs and making iced Easter sugar cookies:)
ReplyDeleteThe highlight of Easter was sleeping through the night - well, my 6 month old did and therefore so did I - double whoop!! Amazing how that full night's sleep can make a difference, especially with 2 other littlies. Thank you my little Easter bunny Ruby x
