The Fabulous Myer Giftorium

Part of the wonderful life of a blogger is getting invited to fab events and this one was an extra special one.

I LOVE Christmas, always have, always will and am enjoying passing my joy and excitement on to my kids.

When the invite turned up for a Secret Myer Christmas Event I was in. I took my girls out of school for the day for all sorts of Mummy/Daughter Shenanigans.

From the moment we arrived on the 6th floor of Bourke Street Myer we were whisked into Christmas land. There were magical elves, roving entertainers, face painters, magic shows, christmas carols and more.

Yep free popcorn and wizz fizz's

Love a good photo bomb

I really do love seeing the look of awe on childrens faces and my 2 girls had that look.

'Giftorium is a unique concept in Australian retailing and was developed to bring back fun and theatre to Christmas shopping. At the heart of Giftorium is the desire to provide a totally unique set of services and create a new level of engagement with Myer customers shopping for Christmas gifts, decorations and festive food ideas. '

Digging the jellybean wall

There is a frozen cave to climb into and have some time out if required.

There are activities to keep young ones happy and busy

Incredibly talented face painter (artist), this Mama bear got in on the act too.

We really enjoyed the Giftologists (gift giving experts) who were on hand and happy to help you with your gift buying.

Great for kids to go off with some money in their pocket to buy gifts for siblings, friends and parents.

Myer will also be bringing the magic of Christmas to its website with a dedicated Giftorium
microsite to guide customers through the product offering and services including: Giftician
appointments (select stores), book a time to meet Santa (all downtown stores), Same Day Elf
Delivery service to anyone within a 2km radius (Melb, Syd, Bris and Perth), and the Gift Finder. I so wish I could get a gift delivered by an elf.

In select stores around the country, there will be demonstrations by major brands including Marvin’s
Magic, SodaStream, Mr Men and Little Miss, Plumm wine glasses, Dilmah Teas and Vista Print.

The Mr Men/Little Miss stand are doing personalised prints. LOVE LOVE this idea and think its an amazing present for young and old. Look at mine...squeal!!!

We were lucky enough to be able to take home a soda stream (how happy are we?) but even better you get to customise your own colours. We went red/yellow/red. Another awesome gift idea.

Sooooooo many amazing decorations in loads of colour themes. It is like being a kid in a candy store.

We had to follow up with some racing season hats and fascinator try ons. My girls could get used to skipping school.

Christmas Giftorium
officially opens on the 8th November with lots of opening weekend fanfare.

So when you head up for the Myer Christmas windows make sure you visit the 6th floor Giftorium as well.
